Terms and Conditions

Students can register in person, by phone 239-394-4221, or on our website at www.marcoislandart.org Member pricing applies to current members of Marco Island Center for the Arts ONLY. To check the status of your membership, check the expiration date on your Membership Card or call the Art Center.

REGISTRATION POLICIES: Advanced registration and payment in full is required for all classes. Enrollment is limited and spaces are filled on a “first-paid, first-served” basis. Students are responsible for obtaining and providing materials for classes unless otherwise indicated. Supply lists for all classes and workshops will be available on our website and at the Art Center, which can be picked up or emailed upon request. 

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS:

The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class without incurring obligations.
ALL CLASSES HAVE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS. TO ENSURE A CLASS DOES NOT GET CANCELLED DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT, BE SURE TO REGISTER EARLY.

The decision to cancel a class will be determined on the Friday preceding the first day of class. The decision to cancel a Visiting Artist’s workshop will be 31 days prior to the start date. If a class or workshop is cancelled, you will be notified of the cancellation and asked if you would like to transfer to another class, receive a full refund or put the amount as a credit on account to be used towards any future purchase at the Art Center.

There is a $10 fee for all cancella tions and transfers by a student received 7 or more days prior to the class start date. Any cancel- lation or transfer from a Visiting Artist’s Workshop received 35+ days prior to the first day of the workshop will incur a 50% cancellation fee. There are no refunds or transfers if received less than 7 days for a class days or less for a Visiting Artist’s Workshop.

LIABILITY

Marco Island Center for the Arts will not assume liability for injuries that occur within the subject area where the student is
enrolled. Upon registration for any course, the student assumes all reasonable liability from injuries related to the scope of the coursework being taught and releases
the Marco Island Center for the Arts from any liability claims related to any injuries and/or accidents that may occur. The
student can be assured that every reasonable safety precaution is taken by the Art Center. The Marco Island Center for the Arts is not responsible for any artwork
or personal items lost or stolen in the classrooms.

CANCELLED OR MISSED COURSES:
There are no make-up classes due to student illness, travel, or other reasons that are not the responsibility of the Marco Island Center for the Arts. Students enrolled in courses which are cancelled by the Art Center prior to the start of the class due to lack of enrollment, instructor illness or other need to cancel a full refund or credit.

Registration

This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest.
