Skill Level: Intermediate (must be able to bring simple, pre-made greenware to class)

Description
Add color and life to your pottery by using a modified majolica method to create colorful illustrations and patterns on the surface of greenware. The first afternoon, learn about creating a clean canvas with engobe, and then using several techniques for adding lively drawings, shapes and outlines to your pottery. Students will need to prepare and bring two or three green pieces of their own to underglaze. A second afternoon will allow students to glaze their bisqueware.
Students to bring: 2 – 3 premade pieces of greenware (preferably b-mix clay), potters sponge, favorite underglazes, plus assorted glaze and paint brushes.
