Just in time to update fall decor, this fun class will introduce students to three different hand building techniques to create closed hollow forms. Learn how to use various tools to create authentic organic forms and add textural qualities. Students will make design decisions regarding the size, shape, and quantity of pumpkins and gourds they make, as well as the method they prefer. Endless possibilities exist for personalization. Finish your collection with a selection of mid-fire glazes from Amaco, Mayco and Spectrum with opportunities to experiment with layering of the glazes for special effects. Two three hour “building” sessions, plus one three hour glazing session. No experience necessary!
