Musical Interludes with Italian American Dream Analisa and John Tuesday March 16, 2027 5:30PM

Old souls with an affection for their culture and a love for rich, passion filled music — Analisa and John have a diverse musical background, ranging from playing in late night jazz clubs to massive country festivals. But the husband and wife duo have found that the music which most closely resembles them is the music that tied them together in the first place: the Italian classics.

When they met at a rehearsal in Nashville playing in a country band in 2016, they quickly discovered the never ending list of commonalities between them; memories of the Italian crooners echoing off the walls at their grandparent’s house, the plastic covering on their grandmother’s dining room chairs, early Sunday dinners with their cousins after church, and the list goes on. Analisa and John’s romance was sparked at the same time that their musical chemistry was ignited.

“The Italian American Dream” show was dreamt up during a late night conversation between the couple, desiring to combine the love of their culture with their passion for music. Radio broadcaster, Thom Kokenge, writes in ArtBeat magazine: “‘The Italian American Dream’ follows the immigrant journey across the 20th century, and the setlist itself is a roadmap through history. It begins with classical Italian roots – the songs of the old country, full of longing and sunshine – then moves through the streets of New York and New Jersey…”

“We wanted to come up with a show that was bigger than ourselves,” explains Analisa. “The Italian American Dream” is a heartfelt performance, a story actually, about their own ancestors coming to America – beginning with a sacrificial love of family, rooted in tradition, and carried out in faith.
