Musical Interludes with Comedy and Tragedy Thursday January 21, 2027 5:30PM

Comedy & Tragedy is Dave Goldenberg and George Mallas, two singer-songwriters who blend their contrasting musical styles (Dave: humorous and
satirical; George: heartfelt and confessional) into an act made whole by their unique audience-engaging repartee and seamless musical rapport.

George (keys) and Dave (guitar) also comprise 50% of the Four Horsemen Songwriters, who’ve performed at storied venues around the Northeast. They also host the podcast Acoustic Northeast,
featuring the singers, songwriters and scene of the NE USA.

Dave has opened for comedians Joan Rivers, Robert Klein, and Paul Reiser, along with such artists as Steve Forbert and Jill
Sobule. His songs not only tickle your funny bone, also but make you stop and take notice of some of the absurdities in our day-to-day lives.

His new album, Here Lies Dave Goldenberg will be released in 2026. See and hear more at davegoldenberg.com

George, who has been writing and playing piano since his teen years, names as his musical influences Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and James Taylor.

His melodic songs touch your heartstrings on subjects of love, longing and redemption. George has released four albums, the latest of which is Within These Walls. See and hear more at mallasmusic.com
