‘Artist of the Year’ Award

Marco Island Center for the Arts is proud to continue the tradition of Marco Island Foundation for the Arts and the mission to promote the visual, literary, and performing arts on Marco Island and the surrounding area.  Marco Island Center for the Arts took over this annual recognition beginning in 2024.

Marco Island Center for the Arts is proud to continue supporting our artists by acknowledging their importance in maintaining and enhancing the cultural landscape of Marco Island.

2024 Artist of the Year- Barbara Parisi

2026 Artists of the Year – Diane Eiler and Gregg Birr

Submission

Each year Marco Island Center for the Arts will recognize a new ‘Artist of the Year’. The Art Center is asking for your assistance as the public will aid in the selection by submitting a completed application no later than April 17, 2026, by 5:00pm.  Submissions must include the name and contact information of the person submitting the nomination.  Be sure to include adequate supporting information about the person or group being nominated including achievements, previous awards, and contact information.

Award recipients will be recognized during a cocktail reception May 6, 2026 at 5:30pm.
