OCTOBER 21 - GOODLAND: Meet at church on 410 Mango Ave.
412 Mango Ave, Old Mission House originally located a few lots further up Mango when it was destroyed by Hurricane Donna in 1960. The Goodland Baptist Mission Church replaced that Mission with the small church we know today and the historic Manhattan/Caxambas Merchantile General Store originally built in 1901 by the Barfields placed at the rear of this large property. The Store was moved in 1949 from Caxambas to property where the Little Bar now stands. It was operated by Bud & Kappy Kirk, as it was at the Caxambas location. The final move was made in 1964 to serve as the Fellowship House church congregation.
