SANTA'S WORKSHOP DAYS

Santa’s Workshop Days will be offered on Monday – Wednesday, December 21 – 23, 2009 at the Art League Marco Island’s Center for the Arts. Elves can register for 1⁄2 day or full day sessions. Half day sessions run 9am – 1pm for $50.00 a day; full day sessions are 9am – 5pm for $75.00 a day; Elves that register for 3 full days pay a total $180.00; a special way for Santa to thank his elves for all their hard work.

WINNER DONATES FUNDS BACK

Charlie Neal, 2009 President, Marco Island Board of Realtors, was the lucky winner of the second monthly Project Rescue Island Wide 50 /50 drawing held on December 1st during the organization’ monthly 1st Tuesday Art @ Five Social. The winning ticket, drawn by new PAL (Patron of the Art League), Dr. Ed Cohen, was worth $427.00. Art League President Keith Klipstein presented Mr. Neal with his winnings, which were generously donated back to the Art League Marco Island’s Center for the Arts in support of the Project Rescue Campaign to Save Marco’s Arts League.

SPONSOR A GALLERY WALL

An Art League member has graciously donated $500, and challenges individuals to contribute $100 or more to sponsor a special gallery wall as a group. This donor seeks camaraderie with others who recognize that the Art League is a gem in our community – that it promotes education in and appreciation of excellence in the arts, and is a valuable economic asset as well. A plaque on the group sponsored gallery wall will read, “Marco Island Neighbors Support the Art League”.

The Sale is in affect from December 16 through December 19 and all Patrons of the Arts are encouraged to Shop Marco First and make your gift purchases at Island Trends and the businesses supporting the Art Leagues efforts.

Rookery Bay Estuarine Research Reserve and the United Arts Council of Collier County request submissions for its "Annual All Photography" exhibit to be held at the Environmental Learning Center at Rookery Bay in Naples, FL.
