Looking for an exciting new way to enjoy lunch? Tired of the same old scene? Need an innovative or fresh idea to entertain guests? How about a fun lunch date with the girls?
Taste of Raku is for you!

Join us on the Last Wednesday each month June-August 2010 as Marco Island Center for the Arts and award winning clay artist Annabelle Johnson & Richard Rosen bring you Taste of Raku!

Exactly what does Raku taste like? Although Raku is not to be eaten it is a major part of the day’s menu!

The fun filled, creative, experience provides you with an original bisque fired clay piece cooked up by Annabelle & Richard that you get to glaze (this is the adding of color); while the pieces are fired in the Raku kiln, you will enjoy a fun lunch in our gallery!

Plus everyone gets a doggy bag as you take home your completed piece!

These Expos will feature up to 17 different instructors who will be on hand for you to meet, view their techniques, see first hand what their class is all about and ask questions.

Want a more in depth demo of an instructor’s class, the Center now offers 60 minute demos providing you with a taste of their teaching style while also allowing you to see if the class will meet your expectations.
