Fran Foley has been teaching and weaving Nantucket Lightship Baskets for 15 years at her studios in Massachusetts, Florida and Vermont. She has studied with renowned New England basket weavers, Martha Wetherbee and Kyle James. Her work has been exhibited at the Grafton Historical Society, Grafton, VT, the Jelly Bean Tree Artisans Cooperative in Saxtons River, VT, (Vermont’s oldest Artisans Cooperative), the Marco Island Center for the Arts in Florida where she teaches, and the Grafton Valley Artisans Guild in Grafton, VT.
